The 7 Elite Academy International Tournament will feature a Pre-Academy Jamboree designed to bring younger players even closer to the full international soccer experience.

The 2024 tournament will take place on February 1-3 in Southern Utah and Nevada, with the Pre-Academy Jamboree – for players aged 5-8 – scheduled for Saturday 3.

Some of the biggest names in youth soccer flock to the three-day event every year, including players from prestigious international academies based in Europe.

By staging the Pre-Academy Jamboree in Mesquite on the busiest day of the main tournament, youngsters benefit from playing in an atmosphere generated by the biggest youth soccer event in the region.

Matt Brown, 7 Elite Pre-Academy Manager, said: “It is so exciting that we can once again bring our jamboree to youngsters in Southern Utah during the 7 Elite Academy International Tournament.

“Every year, we see younger players gain important tournament experience at our Jamboree, while also having a great time. That’s the biggest thing for me – the kids always have a smile on their face!

“The games do have a competitive element to them, but we always follow our 7 Elite Pre-Academy strategy of creating a fun atmosphere for everyone involved.

“The noise generated by our Jamboree adds to the tournament atmosphere, which is always great fun! There’s nothing like seeing players laugh, smile and enjoy soccer at a fantastic venue like Mesquite.”

The 7 Elite Academy International Tournament attracted over 350 teams to the region last year, with early booking figures suggesting a total of almost 500 teams in 2024.

Matt added: “For a player who is starting out in soccer, or even a player who already has some experience, this is an unmissable opportunity to join our tournament.

“I spend ten months of the year thinking of ways to make the jamboree even bigger and better, and 2024 will be no exception. It is going to be a spectacular day for us all.”

Players, families and coaches can look forward to a dazzling line-up of entertainment, food and merchandise to accompany three days of top-class youth soccer.

Tournament organizers have also reached out to college scouts and international academy teams, as well as leading officials from the United States and United Kingdom.

Nick Nield, 7 Elite Academy International Tournament Director, said: “We love having the Pre-Academy Jamboree here as part of our tournament every year.

“The noise, laughter and fun generated by the jamboree is irreplaceable and goes a long way towards creating the ünique tournament atmosphere we all know and love.

“When we kick off on February 1, it will be the start of three days of high quality international youth soccer in a noisy and fun environment across three wonderful venues.

“We are urging teams to make sure they book early, as we’ve already seen many age groups start to fill up. That also goes for the Jamboree, which we expect to be very popular.”
