Q&A

Frequently Asked Questions

When and where is the tournament taking place?

A. The 7 Elite Academy International Tournament takes place annually at the start of February across Southern Utah and Southern Nevada. In 2026, the tournament will run from February 5th to 7th.

We utilize some of the finest soccer facilities in the region, including:

  • Sullivan Virgin River Soccer Complex – Washington, Utah
  • Little Valley Soccer Complex – St. George, Utah
  • Shivwits Legacy Fields – Ivins, Utah
  • Mesquite Regional Sports and Event Complex – Mesquite, Nevada

These high-quality venues provide an exceptional playing experience and a stunning backdrop for one of the largest youth soccer events in the Western United States.

How much does the tournament cost?

Tournament fees vary by age group.

For a full breakdown of registration costs, please visit our Tournament Fees page.

When will games start on Thursday?

A: Games usually start around 3.

I coach two – three teams, can you make sure I don’t have any conflicts?

A: With nearly 500 games scheduled over just 2.5 days, it’s extremely difficult to make game-time changes once the schedule is set. There is very little room for flexibility. We always encourage coaches with multiple teams to register early and ensure they have a capable assistant coach available to help manage overlaps. While we’ll do our best to accommodate special requests, we can’t guarantee adjustments—so the sooner you register and submit any requests, the better.

When will the schedule be out?

A: The tournament schedule will be released approximately 2-3 weeks before the event. We’ll notify all registered teams via email once it’s live, and it will also be available on our website and app. Please ensure any special requests are submitted as early as possible—once the schedule is finalized, changes are extremely limited due to the size and complexity of the event.

I’m travelling from outside the region, do you have any special rates with hotels?

A: Yes, we’ve secured special rates for tournament attendees at our partner hotels.
To take advantage of these discounted rates, please visit the Accommodation page on our website where you’ll find booking links and more details. We recommend booking early, as rooms at these rates are limited and tend to fill up quickly. If you have any specific needs or are booking for a larger group, feel free to reach out, we’ll do our best to assist.

Will there be food available at the venue?

A: Yes, food and drinks will be available at most of our main venues throughout the tournament.
A variety of vendors and concessions will be on-site offering snacks, meals, and beverages for players, coaches, and spectators. We recommend bringing refillable water bottles, as many venues also have hydration stations or water fountains available. Please note: options may vary slightly by location, so we encourage teams to plan accordingly—especially if playing at multiple sites in one day.

Where can I send payment?

A: Payment is made at the time of registration via credit or debit card

What is a crossover bracket?

A: With 6 teams you play all three teams in the other group. The final is the top two teams based on points earned in those three games. Basically it means all games count in standings (no consolation games) and if two strong teams end up in the same group they could both still play in the final. Winning the group for 6 teams brackets isn’t really a thing because it’s just points.

How do I upload documents?

How do I report incorrect scores?

A: Send info to tournament director and/or referee assignor. Please include Game number and team names with score info. Example:
Game #47
Meta – 2
7-Elite – 0
7 Elite won Shootout

When is the deadline to register?

A: There is no official deadline to register, however, in the past two years we have closed registrations by December. Divisions may fill up before that date, so we strongly encourage teams to register early to secure their place. Once a bracket reaches capacity, registration will close for that age group.
